The ICIIT 2025 Conference: Applying Smart Technology to Solve Global Issue
On February 21, 2025, International Conference on Intelligent Information Technology (ICIIT 2025) took place at Greenwich Vietnam – Hanoi Campus. With nearly 70 papers presented by scholars from 35 universities across 15 countries, along with the participation of three world-renowned keynote speakers, the conference offered valuable academic content, attracting the attention of hundreds of scholars, and researchers both domestically and internationally.

2025 10th International Conference on Intelligent Information Technology (ICIIT 2025) will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam during February 20-23, 2025. ICIIT 2025 is co-organized by FPT Education, Greenwich Vietnam and Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES), supported by Hung Vuong University of Ho Chi Minh City, Foshan University, Guangdong High Performance Computing Society, and College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), National Taipei University of Technology.
The conference has been held annually, gathering researchers, scholars, and practitioners in the field of information technology from around the world. The event also serves as a platform for meeting, interacting, discussing, and exchanging experiences to promote the academic collaboration between countries, universities, and individuals. This year, Greenwich Vietnam co-hosts the conference in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The conference was attended by the leadership of FPT Education, including Dr. Nguyễn Kim Ánh – Vice Rector of FPT University, Mr. Nguyễn Nhựt Tân – Director of Greenwich Vietnam, Dr. Tạ Ngọc Cầu – Vice Director of FPT University Hanoi campus, Dr. Trần Thế Trung – Director of the FPT Technology Research Institute, MSc. Ngô Thanh Tùng – Director of Greenwich Vietnam – Hanoi campus, along with over 100 researchers and scholars from 35 universities in 15 countries, including China, the United States, Japan, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Vietnam, Canada, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines.
Mr. Nguyen Nhut Tan – Director of Greenwich Vietnam, delivered the opening speech. He emphasized the importance of smart information technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), which has a significant impact on the development of businesses and countries in the digital era. He also affirmed that the ICIIT 2025 conference is a timely event, aligned with current technology trends and the training direction of Greenwich Vietnam. In 2023, Greenwich Vietnam introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its training program to develop high-quality human resources and ensure they meet the global market's needs.

At the plenary session, the keynote speakers presented and discussed "hot" technology topics that many scholars are interested in. Professor Bogdan Gabrys emphasized the urgency of automated AI systems in the face of the rapid increase in digital content and information, while highlighting the importance of human involvement in improving the interaction between humans and machines and guiding the future development of automated AI systems. Professor Sudeep Tanwar predicted the top 5 trends in the application of Blockchain by 2025, with a particular focus on the integration of Blockchain and AI in information security, optimizing spectrum management, and operating autonomous networks. Professor Mohamed-Slim Alouini emphasized the importance of wireless communication in achieving the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and proposed a solution to connect 3 billion people in unconnected regions via 6G and High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS).
